The collected water is then returned to the top of the waterfall by means of a pump system. No visible water except waterfall itself. No plants, fish, or filtration.

Natural Pond: Built by Mother Nature. Spring fed. Lots of plants, very few fish. Mud bottom.

Ecosystem: This is what most people want when they say ''natural-looking pond.'' It mimics the beauty of a clear mountain stream. It relies on using ''Mother Nature's tools'' to make all its different parts work together to create a balanced and healthy aquatic habitat.
