Gable and column Repair

On this project what we call the eyebrow above a porch if its not supported correctly it will come loose and fall. The column had no significant support or mortar in the joints. we removed the entire gable and column and  rebuilt with stronger and more mortar in the joints and removed the idea of the eyebrow  and install 2 iron supports that are straight and not curved giving all the weight that is forcing downward instead of sideways causing the column to lean out at the top
