Building a retaining wall is a great way if not the only way to retain soil from washing out or settling over time. Wendland Construction constructed this Versa-lok retaining wall in place of Rail road ties. We removed the existing ties and hauled the debre away. Next we lined out and removed the soil and measured for our block and drainage system along with angler gravel. This Retaining wall has multiple levels and many tiers. The wall maintained its 4 foot height or less all through out. The versa-lok colors are a mixture of tan and brown with tan being the lesser of the blocks and capped with the brown. The retaining wall has a unique weathered tumbled look giving this retaining wall character.
